Quiz results show submitted symbol, not partially-graded score

When the instructor still needs to grade essay portions of a test it would be nice for students to just to see the submitted symbol, not the computer-graded partial score.  It's not always easy to tell which tests have been graded and which haven't.  Also, students would be more aware that the test hasn't been fully graded yet.

Hi! After re-reading, I understand what you suggested! I made a few edits to it is clearer to Community Members too.

In the meantime, have you explored hiding grades? That could help!

How do I hide or post assignment grades in SpeedGrader?

I use new quizzes.  I don't want to hide the grade because my students like to know what they got on the computer-graded portion when they are done.  It's nice for them to have that immediate feedback.  Even if I hide them, won't it still show up as a score on my end?  Then I still have to figure out which ones I've graded and which ones I haven't.  Thank you for your time.
