When I post comments in my Rubric and click the checkbox stating "Save this comment for reuse", the comment is available to reuse for that specific assignment ONLY. Even though I can reuse a Rubric in multiple assignments, I am forced to recreate rubric comments across assignments, even when the same rubric is being used. This is not efficient, nor does it add to the consistency of the grading process.
I propose that any rubric comments that are saved using the "Save this comment for reuse" be available in any assignment that uses the same rubric. If the goal of Rubric reuse is to provide consistency and a level of efficiency, then the reuse of properly worded rubric comments should also be allowed across assignments. Spending time to eloquently word a rubric comment should not have to be a repeated effort in different assignments where the same rubric is being used.
