In Canvas, I have to open another browser tab so I can refer to my instructions to students while I'm grading. In BbLearn these would appear in an expandable window at the top of the thing I was grading, and it was very handy.
I have multiple assignments that are online submission for students who need to resubmit work done in class or weren't there and need to make it up. When I open one in speed grader, I can't see what the original assignment was asking them to do unless I click on the assignment name, at which point it either opens a new tab that I have to look at or it navigates away. I then have to go back in order to grade that assignment. Oftentimes, I only have 1 or 2 of each assignment to grade at a time so this doubles the time it takes me to grade.
Proposed solution:
Have the instructions pop up at the top before the student submission so that I can quickly remember what the assignment was asking for.
