[Student Grades] Add the "available until" date to the student's grade page
Students miss deadlines (due dates). Many instructors include a grace period when accepting late work and use the "available until" setting on the Assignment Detail page to set a firm cutoff. Students are able to see this date when on a specific assignment, but many students discover they are missing an assignment from their Grades page, where all assignments are conveniently listed.
Currently, the columns on the grade page are Name, Due, Submitted, Status, and Score. I suggest adding a column that includes the "Available Until" date, perhaps titled "Accepted until" to make it explicitly clear. This would minimize the number of clicks for a student trying to see what "missing" assignments are still eligible for credit. Additionally, they would be able to see all of these dates at the same time instead of clicking into an individual assignment. This would also support parents/guardians and support teachers in K12 education who may need to encourage students to complete missing work.
