[Studio] 360-Degree Videos

Problem statement:

Virtual Reality technology can transform educational experiences by immersing students in places and scenarios that they cannot get to in-person. Virtual Reality also allows students to get safe experiences in places and scenarios that may be dangerous or expensive to attend. History and Geography: Students can virtually visit historical sites or explore different geographical landscapes, gaining a deeper understanding of the subject matter. Environmental Science: Learners can experience ecosystems and observe wildlife in their natural habitats, which is particularly useful for studying environmental changes and conservation efforts. Architecture and Design: Students can tour architectural marvels and design projects, allowing them to study structural details and spatial relationships from multiple perspectives. Performing Arts: In drama or dance classes, 360-degree videos can capture performances from all angles, helping students analyze movements and stage setups. Language Learning: Immersive videos can place students in real-life conversational settings, enhancing their language skills through contextual learning.

Proposed solution:

Make Canvas Studio compatible with 360-degree videos. All users to be able to upload 360-degree videos to Canvas Studio and update the Canvas Studio media player to seamlessly play 360-degree videos in web-browsers and in Virtual Reality.
