I work a Christian University where we have chapel services twice a week. We livestream on Facebook using the software OBS Studio. To livestream on Facebook we have to provide a "stream key". A stream key is a unique identifier that allows users to broadcast live content on digital platforms like Facebook, YouTube, Twitch, TikTok, or Instagram. Ideally we would love for our students to be able to access our chapel livestream through Canvas as we require chapel attendance for all students (this would mostly apply to our online students). We do not want to use BigBlueButton, Zoom, or Skype since this is not a meeting or conference call. It would be amazing if there was someway to add a location in Studio or in the course for chapel attendance. Another aspect that could be helpful would be to add something that would allow the livestream video to automatically be uploaded to Studio once it has ended.
Adding a location to input a stream key in Studio or in a course would be the best way for most people in my situation as our livestream software is what is connected to all audio and visual software in our auditorium. I believe that this could be very helpful and have a lot more uses than just for a chapel service.
