Currently, the Course Summary section of the Syllabus page is automatically generated from all dated and/or graded items in a course site. It would be helpful to have a checkbox to hide specific items from the course summary. For example, in a multi-year cohort site, the students are still actively working in the site but don't need to see dates items from 2-3 years ago in the Course Summary.
Create the ability to hide an item from the Course Summary. This could be a check box on the item's settings page and able to be selected at any time the item exists (before or after student submissions exist).
