The Course Summary tool shows events/assignments that have already happened as well as those coming up. For an ongoing course or shared space, that makes upcoming events too hard to find. For example, in a Faculty Resource Course, we want to list upcoming faculty workshops.
I would prefer to have the past workshops disappear from the Course Summary, or have the option to, so the events coming up the soonest would be at the top of the list instead of buried by past events. For a semester-long course, perhaps the default is to show the full calendar, but having the option to hide events that are already past would be helpful.
