Canvas App Login Issue

I am having trouble logging in to the canvas app. My login doesn't work on the app even though it works when I do it on the computer. I asked my teacher and they told me to use a qr code to sign in, but when I scan the qr code it doesn't sign me in on the app, it simply opens up the login page.

I apologize that you are running into trouble signing into Canvas on the mobile app. 

• Does your school/institution use Multi Factor Authentication? It's possible that you might need to approve your login request using a third party MFA app before you try and login on the app. 
• Does resetting the cache on the mobile app make any difference when you try and use the QR code for login? This option can usually be toggled in the device settings app. 

If you are still unable to get logged on the app, I would strongly suggest reaching out to your schools local IT Helpdesk to see if they are aware of any issues logging into Canvas while using the Mobile app.
