Canvas Dashboard N/A on courses

Hello,

In the canvas app, on the dashboard students get an N/A over their courses. I've seen this change to some procentage. What does this mean?

Students mistake these as not being registered to the course and we need to explain that everything is fine. A bit frustrating.

• Have you tried deleting the app and redownloading it? Also have you checked that your phone is capable of the app?

It sounds like the course settings may have the total grades hidden. Go to course settings and scroll all the way to the bottom and click on "more options" You want to make sure "hide totals in student summary" is disabled and save. Here is the Canvas guide:
