I'd try customizing your dashboard. You should be able to remove old courses and just display the new ones:
Does the screen on enrollment say you have a hold on your account?
Hi, I have this same issue, it doesn’t say anything it just says that its a current enrollment, for me at least, and I haven’t taken the class since Spring 2022.
