Front Page Not Showing in Parent App

I have scoured the web for an answer to this question and asked Support, without any luck.  I have a teacher who is using Canvas for Elementary and her parents do not see a "Front Page" in the Parent App.  When they select her course, they only see "Grades".

Another elementary teacher in a different school (also using C4E) has a different experience.  Her parents do see the homepage--the tabs at the top of the course are "Summary" and "Syllabus", but the Syllabus page allows her parents to see the front page.

What can I do for this teacher who isn't seeing the Front Page?

Hey! Have you found a solution for this? We are having the same issue when on the elementary experience. I'm not hearing of a solution from support either.

Hi April! Good to see you in the Community. I think this currently is not fully support by Canvas Parent App and C4E. If I am reading the guides correctly. I've asked my fellow Canvas advocates to see if we can get a better answer. In their Canvas for Elementary release notes from a while back they didn't mention supporting the Parent Mobile app and I can't find any documentation about support since. 

Let us know if you find an answer and I will do that same.

I actually have found a solution and it's super frustrating.  On the parent app, our elementary parents see a Syllabus page. This is connected to the Resource page in the C4E platform, which teachers edit by going to the "Important Information" tab in the course links.  It's a very different experience on the app as opposed to the web which frustrates our teachers.  What we ended up doing is putting a link on the homepage to the resource page and using our resource page as the page with all of the buttons, which means one more click for our elementary students.

I hope that Canvas will make adjustments.  We struggle to get our elementary teachers to buy into using Canvas in the first place and asking them to edit the Resource page by clicking on Important Info so that parents can see information on the Syllabus in the app makes their heads spin.
