Is there a way to grade on canvas using an iPad? I am a TA and it is easier to utilize my iPad but I can not figure out how to access my students grade book on iPad. It only shows up like I am a student in the class, which it does not do on my computer.

Hi @Maryann7 -
Have you tried the Canvas Teacher app? It's created with graders in mind! While you don't have access to the full gradebook, Speedgrader works well!

Hi, Maryann. The iPad app is slow slow slow and --on my iPad right now-- you cannot swipe to advance to the next student. This is very typical of Canvas / Instructure: a good idea that is implemented poorly, stops working unexpectedly, and is generally poorly thought out. I describe Canvas on both a browser and on the app as "passive aggressive" --they make core functionalities so difficult to use that it feels like it simply must be intentional. Nobody would design such a frustrating user experience across the product by accident. Use it if you want to but I will tell you that my experience w/ iPad grading using the Teacher App has been enormously frustrating. I really wish we used a competitor.
