Multiple push notifications for each canvas notification

When I receive notifications from Canvas, I receive four push notifications for each one. For example, when an instructor sends an announcement, I receive four push notifications on my mobile device. Is there any fix for this? Should I just redownload the app?

I'm not sure if this has been resolved at this point, but did you have multiple push notifications set up? Did you double check your settings and course specific notifications? It definitely shouldn't be sending 4 times for the same exact thing - unless you are a teacher and have it set up to receive a notification for every assignment submission - for example. If you're still having issues with this please contact Canvas Support directly so they can help pinpoint the source of the issue and provide a resolution.

No, this issue has not been resolved. My school's Canvas shell does not have a Submit a Ticket or Report a Problem option in the help menu which is why I posted here. Do you have a direct link to where I can submit a support ticket?

Hi Sean, 

If your school's Canvas doesn't have a way to reach out to Canvas support in the help menu, or send a ticket to Canvas support, you will want to reach out to your school's IT. It sounds like they may use a specific version of Canvas that they run on their own servers.
