I currently have a submission upload that is taking up 4.9 MB on my phone and my app is at 102.9 MB which takes up alot of storage on my phone. I have had canvas for 4 years at a different school and storage was never an issue. what can i do to fix it? i cleared cache and i cant delete the file

To clear up the files saved to your device you can try two things:
1) Go into your iPhone settings and select Reset cache on next launch - https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Canvas-Student-iOS-Guide/What-Student-app-options-can-I-manage-fr...
Note this will also remove your log in information, so you will have to log in again.
2) If #1 doesn't work, you should delete the app through in your iPhone storage settings (the Delete App button in your screenshot). If you delete the app from your home screen, it will keep the cached files on your phone.

I can see that your app is taking up space on your phone. Does it still take up that much storage space after you remove and reinstall the app?
