I received a call from an instructor who does a lot of grading on the Canvas mobile app. They pointed out that when they receive an item that needs to be graded on their to-do list and they click on it, it takes them to the first student in alphabetical order in the class rather than the first student that needs to be graded. I tested it and had the same experience.
This behavior is different than what we see in the browser version and, according to them, it's also different from how the app behaved as recently as a few weeks ago.
This is an annoying issue in a class with a large enrollment and basically makes grading on the mobile app much less useful.
Any suggestions and/or is this something that can be fixed?
Thanks.
Hello @JasonFults
Thanks for posting about this in the Community! I apologize that your instructor is seeing that odd behavior.
I would suggest (if you haven't already) submitting a ticket directly to Canvas Support on this and have them check to see if they have a known issue related this. They might need a few specific details to speed up the process such as:
Hopefully this helps!
