Canvas Parent Release Notes (iOS 3.15)

Canvas iOS app version updates are distributed in a phased rollout, which distributes the update to all users enrolled in automatic updates over time. The features in these notes may not immediately be available, but iOS users can manually update the app at any time in the App Store. The Canvas Parent iOS App requires iOS 16.0 or later.

Parent App Updates

  • Enhanced course file authentication for improved security.
  • Resolved an issue where the alert list did not refresh after an alert was read or dismissed.
  • Corrected the visibility of certain assignments on the grades screen to ensure only relevant assignments are displayed.
  • Updated the Based on graded assignments toggle to ensure letter grades reflect accurate calculations.
