Canvas Student Release Notes (iOS 7.14)

Canvas iOS app version updates are distributed in a phased rollout, which distributes the update to all users enrolled in automatic updates over time. The features in these notes may not immediately be available, but iOS users can manually update the app at any time in the App Store. The Canvas Student iOS App requires iOS 16.0 or later.

Student App Updates

• Inbox signature is included in messages when the feature option is enabled.
• Added re-login support for expired sessions.
• Improved accessibility on various screens.
• Removed the Canvas on GitHub link from the Settings screen.
• The total grade is displayed correctly on the Grades screen.
• Grades are displayed in the correct format on the Assignments screen.
• Resolved an issue where the open button was unreachable on the submission details screen.
• The attached media files in discussions are accessible.
• Corrected the wrong dates that were displayed in the notifications page.
• New calendar events have the correct end time.
• Masquerading users can pick files for assignment submission.
