Canvas Student Release Notes (iOS 7.7)

In Canvas Student 7.7, Irish language localization is added. On the People page, pronouns display with user names when available. When the Syllabus page is empty in a course, a panda image and No Syllabus text appear as a placeholder. In the Calendar, students can edit and delete To Do items. During an offline sync, Studio videos can be downloaded. The minimum supported iOS version is increased to iOS 16.

Canvas iOS app version updates are distributed in a phased rollout, which distributes the update to all users enrolled in automatic updates over time. The features in these notes may not immediately be available, but iOS users can manually update the app at any time in the iTunes Store. The Canvas Student iOS App requires iOS 16.0 or later.

Added Irish Language

The Student mobile app includes Irish language localization.

Calendar

Edit and Delete To Do Items

In the Calendar, students can edit and delete To Do items.

To edit or delete an To Do item, tap the Option icon and then select either the Edit or Delete option.

Offline mode

Studio Media Available

During an offline sync, Studio videos are downloaded and viewable.
