Canvas Teacher Release Notes (iOS 2.0)

Canvas iOS app version updates are distributed in a phased rollout, which distributes the update to all users enrolled in automatic updates over time. The features in these notes may not immediately be available, but iOS users can manually update the app at any time in the App Store. The Canvas Teacher iOS App requires iOS 16.0 or later.

• Instructure and Canvas Mobile app logos updated to align with current branding.
• SpeedGrader includes specialized UI for different grading types.
• Student Notes and Word Count are available within SpeedGrader.
• Fractional late day values are supported in SpeedGrader.
• Assignment-level Grading Schemes are recognized in SpeedGrader.
• Rubrics UI in SpeedGrader has been refined for improved clarity.
• Drawer interactions in SpeedGrader open and close more smoothly.
• Grades tab consistently opens the SpeedGrader drawer.
• Not-Submitted filter in the Submissions List functions as intended.
• Root Account Teacher users have access to Assignments and Quizzes without restriction.
• Student ordering in SpeedGrader aligns with the Submissions List.
• Audio and video comments attach reliably in SpeedGrader.
• Grade status clears appropriately in all scenarios in SpeedGrader.
• LTI submissions load properly in SpeedGrader.
• Group submissions without files are visible in the Submissions List.
