Accessing Courses and coursework in canvas with my Macbook

When I log into Canvas on my Macbook, my dashboard screen just glitches and does not display my active courses like it does on my chromebook. It will display the course under my courses tab but will not let me upload or show links to upload my assignments. How do I fox this problem? it works fine on my chromebook but chrome does not support microsoft office so I am trying to submit my assignment through my Macbook. Thank you.

Hi @AlejandraLemus,

Can you tell us what version of MacOS your computer is running and what web browser you're using (look at the "Is My Browser up to Date?" section and make sure everything is green, also report the browser and version back here).  Usually the experience you're describing is caused by one of both of those things being out of date.  You could also try clearing your browser cache, as there is a chance that could resolve the issue too.

We have not heard from you in a while so I hope that means you were able to get your issue resolved! I know there has been issues with version 15.6 of Safari, but you will want to make sure that you are on version 15 or 16 to be up to date with Canvas's standards.
