Accidentally deleted a single students grade

I accidentally deleted a single test grade for a student when typing in grades. I was entering quiz grades in a different column and must have right the arrow key and overwrote the grade before I noticed. I do not know what it was, is there a way to recover that information?

Hi @TimothyWestfiel ...

How long ago did you enter that grade that you accidentally deleted?  You *might* be able to see what it was by looking at your school's Canvas "test" or "beta" environments.  These are Canvas environments that are completely separate from the "production" environment (which is what you typically sign into on a daily basis).  Whatever you do in "test" and "beta" do not affect anything you do in "production".  Here are a couple Guides on how you can access these environments:

And, I always tell folks that use these environments to make sure to log out of them before returning to your "production" environment.

Thanks for the response. My school used OneLogin SSO so I was unable to access those environments, at least as I was trying to do it. That would have been perfect but for my schools tech security.

What @Chris_Hofer mentions is one way to do it.  The other way (which I had to check to make sure it showed the values) is to use the nice built in feature of canvas that shows the grade history
