Adding files to workbook

Hi, I am new to Canvas and I am not super techy so apologies if this is really obvious! I am working through my inter-text activity workbook, and for two of the questions I am to upload files.

For the first one - the upload is optional and the request is for a document which we do not use in our pharmacy, but there is nowhere to note this. So the question is left blank as if not attempted. Is this ok to leave like that?

For the other - I am to draw a picture and upload it, but I don't seem to be able to insert anything into the space provided. I have tried taking a photograph and uploading that but it is not working.

Any help would be gratefully received!

Hi @FionaC,

The questions you asked would probably be better answered by your teacher/instructor.  You posted your question in the Instructure Community, which is made up of Instructure product users around the world.  While users here can help with a lot of technical questions, we don't have any access to your course, and we don't know what your teacher intended to do.  Hopefully your teacher gave you at least one method to contact them (email / canvas inbox / phone / etc).

Hope this helps a bit even though your question is a few months old.
