All students missing the same number of assignments?

When I click on a student's name, the sidebar with the at-a-glance analytics shows up. It says that every student has at least 6 assignments missing for my one class and 9 for the other. I clicked through each student to check. Some students have no missing work at all, but if they do have any assignments missing, it is added on to that 6 or 9. For example, if a student really only has 2 assignments missing, it'll show up in my one class as 8 missing instead of 2, as it's adding on to the 6.
