Hello, I am hoping to provide two final project assignment options for my students, so that they only need to pick and complete one of the options for their final grade. How can I set up the gradebook so that student's grades aren't impacted by the assignment option they did not choose? (Perhaps relevant, we currently have the gradebook setup to auto-add 0 for missing assignments).

Hi @jmcrew,
Since you have the auto-zero option on, this should be relatively straightforward. You can create an assignment group, configure it to drop the lowest score (which will end up being the 0), then put both of the assignments into the group. That should do it!
Let us know if you have any questions about this.

Hello! I have a weekly assignment where students choose one option from 4 choices. Unfortunately, I have to go into Grades and type "ex" for excused for each option they did not choose for the total grade to work. If there's another way I'd love to learn!
