Assignment and all submissions disappeared

I was grading an assignment for my sophomore class. As I was grading, the page went blank and changed to "Page Not Found". The assignment and all submissions are gone now.

I have checked the Assignments page in Canvas and the assignment is no longer listed there. It is no longer on the calendar or in the student grades either.

Hi @PCalifano,

we have a centrally managed assignment provisioning system, and assignments that have been submitted aand even graded can be rreplaced by a new version, and the old assignment deleted.

The good news is that this is straightforwards to check on - you can use "/undelete" on the end of your course ID number to see what has been deleted.

I would recommend talking to your technical support before you consider restoring the assignments, which may have been removed for good reason.
