Assignments not showing up in Canvas Gradebook

This is a new issue that I first noticed on Friday. Several of my assignments, mostly quizzes, are not populating in the Gradebook. This is a huge inconvenience, as I have had to hand calculate the grades for almost 200 students. Anyone else having this problem?

I'm posting a picture of the assignment and then I'm posting what assignments are listed in the grade book currently. Yes, it is assigned to this student and yes, they took it. It is also in the correct quarter and there are no filters in place.

@CarlyCoccaro This is one you may need to reach out to Instructure Support about.

You mention there are no filters on the Gradebook. Is it possible you are viewing by section and the assignment is not assigned to a particular section? Have you checked if the assignment has Do not count this assignment toward the final grade enabled? Is it a classic Quiz that has been set up as a Practice Quiz?

Hi! The assignments are assigned to all sections, I double checked. The "Do not count" box is not checked in any of the assignments/quizzes and the quizzes are set up as a graded quiz. I double checked all of this as well when I first noticed the issue.

@CarlyCoccaro Yea...that's about all of the troubleshooting I can think of other than going to Instructure Support. Did you put in a ticket with them?

Hi, did they get back to you? Teachers at my institution have just reported this to me as well and I cannot figure out why they are not showing in the gradebook.

I was having this issue so I changed the filter to all grading periods (I hadn't used this filter and it wasn't showing up that it was only showing quarter 2) and then the assignments showed up. I think this was a recent change as I didn't have to do this before and maybe because the assignment didn't have a due date so the system didn't know what grading period to assign it to.

Are you still having a problem after contacting Canvas Support? What was the solution?
