Automatic logout out after downloading file

Hello.
My problem is whenever I download a file from any of my classes, I get a bunch of "timed-out" pop-ups. It needs me to login again to do anything else. Sometimes the pop-ups even keep generating, and wont stop until I exit the tab. Other times, before the pop-ups arrive, refreshing the page does work. But I have to do that after I download something every time.
I've attached a picture of a more mild case of this happening.

That is very odd behavior and not something you'd normally expect in Canvas. It is likely your internet browser and we recommend clearing your cache and cookies or trying another browser. If you're using the app, we recommend clearing the cache there also.
If you're still experiencing the error, we recommend speaking with your school IT help desk or contacting Canvas Support directly.
