I am trying to build a quiz that has a table that students can put either ticks or crosses in the table like the example below.

Days and hours of trading are attached to the exterior of the premises, outside each principal entrance.

A copy of the licence and conditions is attached to the inside of the premises so as to easily read by people entering each principal entrance.

A copy of the licence and conditions is attached to the inside of the premises so as to easily read by people using the premises.

Full name of the manager on duty is prominently displayed inside the premises.

No service to minors or intoxicated persons is displayed at every point of sale.

Food availability.

Information about transport options.

Host responsibility policy.

@MichaelStrachan

If there is only one correct answer for each row then you can create a "Matching" type question or multiple choice questions as suggested by @Chris_Hofer

> Matching type quiz (only one possible answer for each row)

> Another option is to set up "Multiple Dropdowns" type quiz. Some downside that you might want to consider before setting this up:

  • It will take a lot of time to set it up
  • The result page doesn't look good

The benefit of this setup is that it will be auto-graded by Canvas.

The question will look like this from student's view

Alternatively, you can create a fillable PDF file and upload the file to an "Essay Question" type where students can download, fill and reupload. However, this will not be auto-graded
