Calendar Events by section

Hi, I am a middle school teacher, and I have 5 sections I teach each day.  Is there a way to create a calendar event by class section?

I don't know if you can create discrete events in the calendar, but you can set different due dates by section. https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-set-a-different-event-date-for-each-sec...

You could try creating an event and only setting a date for one section. I'd be curious to know how it works for you.

Hi, your suggestion did not work.  The calendar post with specific times still was published to all my sections instead of just one section.  If you have any other suggestions please let me know.  Otherwise, this might need to be sent in as an idea for the engineers.

Hi, on second attempt I was not able to get a calendar event by section but the link you included on how to change the due dates by section worked.
