I am teaching graduate level medicine. I want to create cases wherein your first response to a patient alters your next interaction with the patient in terms of patient disease status as well as changing the available treatment options.
e.g.: Patient complains of thirst and depending on the type and volume of fluid that you give them, the patient has a different response and a different follow-up question.
Hello @Teachah213
Thanks for posting this in the Community!
Currently, Canvas does not have a way for you to do something like this. However, I did see that there has been some conversation (HERE) about a feature like this in the community. The term they are using is Adaptive Learning - Quiz Branching, which would direct students to a particular piece of Content based on their responses to a question in a quiz.
I personally think that this would be a cool new feature for the New Quizzes engine. Feel free to add a comment on that open Idea if you have a chance!
-Hopefully this helps!
