I gave a group assignment. About 95% of groups submitted them correctly, but the remaining 5% said they had technical difficulties. I would like all submissions to go into Canvas the "right way" (i.e., as if students had correctly submitted them), if only so I can easily send them through the TurnItIn plagiarism review.
Can instructors submit group assignments on behalf of students?

Hi @rherron,
At this moment in time, submitting on behalf of a student is not a feature in Canvas. On the bright side, the feature is scheduled to be released on 3/18/2023! Even once the feature is released, your local Canvas admin team will need to review the feature and will choose when (if at all) to make it available to you. I'd definitely encourage you to talk to your local team (usually in the eLearning / IT / Digital Education areas) about this if it's something you'd like to have as soon as possible.
I hope this info helps!
