Can't change the profile picture

Hello. I ama student trying to change my profile picture. When I upload the picture and press "save," it says "selecting ima,ge" and nothing happens. I have tried over the course of the past month, and it's always the same.  I have also tried several different formats (PNG, JPG, etc.) If anyone had this issue, please share.

Hi there, @SolomiyaKuzmich ...

I am assuming that you are trying to use the process outlined in the following Guide to upload your profile picture to your Canvas account:

How do I add a profile picture in my user account?

If these are the instructions you are using, you might also try this...

1. In Canvas, click on "Account" >> "Files".  How do I view my user files?
   • Check to make sure that at the bottom of this screen, you haven't exceeded your file storage limit.  For example, mine says "10% of 50 MB used".
2. Within the "My Files" folder, click on the "profile pictures" folder.
3. Delete the image in the "profile pictures" folder (if an image exists in this folder).
4. Use the I linked above on how to add your profile picture to see if you can re-upload your profile picture.

If you are still having difficulties upload an image to your profile in Canvas, you may need to reach out to Canvas Support.   You can do this via the "Help" global navigation menu in Canvas.

Click on your profile then go to "my profile" click on the photo again then browse for the photo of your choice.... then once selected it will have you crop the photo to the needed size, then click save.

You have to wait and click save twice. Make sure you click save until the page refreshes showing your new Pic. It took me a couple of times but once I saved it twice it was good.
