Can't resize image in Dashboard tile

HI, if anyone can please respond with an answer, I'd be very grateful. I have an image I want to upload as the thumbnail picture I will see in the Dashboard class tile for a course I am teaching. However, the image is a little too large to fit in the image area. I have tried every conceivable way to reduce its size, take a new screenshot of it, change its properties, etc. and nothing works. I know there is a way to do this, but I can't remember it, and cannot locate an answer. How do I reduce the size of the graphic and save it correctly so that I can get it to fit in the tile image area?

Hi @DebraSayble ...

The dimensions of the image should be 262 x 146 pixels.  I downloaded your image, and then I scaled it down using the "Paint" program on my Windows 11 laptop.  If I scaled it down to 262 pixels wide, it is still 230 pixels high (so that I wasn't distorting the image).  I then saved it as a JPG image.  I've attached it here for you to try.  It may still not look exactly like what you want, but it might be close.  The only other thing I could think of would be to add a bunch of white space around the image...then scale it down so that it matches (or is pretty close) to the 262 x 146 pixel dimensions.

This can't be the right solution.  "Fill" and "Fit" have existed forever.  I shouldn't have to resize to an exact pixel size.  That violates like every principle of web and graphic design.

At least default to fit instead of fill.  Having an image look slightly goofy with borders is way better than being unable to use an image entirely.
