Over the past two weeks, several of my students have come to me showing me how when they try to go to our course in Canvas, they end up with a screen saying "Access Denied." I have had them shutdown their computer and completely restart, I've checked their login on my student list, and I've tried to log them in with Google. Nothing works. I can see them on my "People" list for the course, so I know they completed the enrollment process. And they have already completed and submitted assignments in our Canvas course.
What do I need to do that I am not doing to help these students? (I'm getting emails from fairly frustrated parents.)
Thanks

@vcarmer Welcome! Have you tried having the students go to their dashboard (or alternatively, your Canvas URL) then navigating back to the course? Sometimes when users log in and there was a change in a course, they'll get that page, but navigating back to the dashboard then to the course usually fixes it.
The other thing I would check is the 'student view' of the course to ensure that students are able to access the pages needed. Maybe someone unpublished something and they're trying to directly access that link?
Without more information it'll be hard to troubleshoot using the forums. You may want to contact your district level Canvas support for assistance with this issue as well.
