Good morning, we were developing reports using Canvas Data 2 to track student interactions with their courses in the Canvas LMS. One activity we would like to track is participation in Journals.
It is my understanding that journal activity is not tracked by submission_type in the submissions table; below is what is available to us in that table. Would anyone have ideas of which table in Canvas Data 2 we could use to track activity in journals? Thank you so much!

Hi, @saustin ! Canvas does not have a built-in tool for journals, as far as I know. Could you say a little more about how teachers at your institution create journal assignments in Canvas?

@stimme My apologies -- I come from a Blackboard world, and had erroneously assumed that an assignment the instructor had titled as "Journal Entry" was using a Journaling tool. I am so, so sorry; again, please accept my apologies.
Do feel free to close this, and again, thank you!
