Canvas LMS Annoucements

When posting an announcement I have had some instructors that would like to post it only for a few days and then have it disappear from the announcements.  I do not believe that is a feature right now.  Is it possible that this feature could be added?  Under the options on the announcement can someone add a publish date and then an unpublish date?  This may be a very useful use of announcements.

You are correct, that is not possible in Course Announcements (that is a feature that is available in Global Announcements)

It does look like someone has submitted ideas very similar to what you are saying:
