Canvas: My Media

Hello,

I am unable to access My Media. I am getting the following error message: 

 

"It seems your browser is blocking 3rd party session cookies which are required for the Kaltura application. To resolve this issue, please update your settings to allow 3rd party cookies."

This happened back in fall and after 2 days of attempting to resolve the issue, Canvas indicated that the issue was on their end. 

I have been in contact with Canvas support, but they have not offered any solutions except to access my account using a new incognito window. 

I had added several links to allow for 3rd party cookies back in fall and everything worked fine until today. Does anybody have any experience with this, or could you offer any suggestions?

Canvas' latest suggestion was something related to "extensions" (turning them on and off, one by one). Not sure if that is on point or not. And frankly, I don't feel comfortable playing with something I know nothing about.

Dear Friends,

I have resolved the issue on my own. If this is an issue for anyone else, please note that there is a series of three icons on the right side of the address bar at the top. One is for "apps" the middle one is a "black eye" for allowing third party cookies and the one next to that is for "favorites". I simply clicked on the black eye, and it allowed me to slide the icon from left to right allowing for third party cookies. 

In retrospect, I now remember that this was the solution back in fall. I wish I had remembered that 5 hours ago.
