For some reason dragging and moving my courses will not work and neither does the "Move To Top/Bottom" button. I want to organizes the classes that I am enrolled in but they will not move when I am moving them.

I am assuming that you are a student.  There seems to be an issue right now with students not being able to re-arrange their course cards on the Canvas Dashboard.  However, this Guide does indicate that it should be possible: How do I view my favorite courses in the Card View... - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com)

No I am not a student. I am an instructor. It used to be that I just click and hold the course icon and drag it to where I want to place it. Today, it's behaving funny. I can move the icon to the desired location but when I release the mouse to place it, it returns right back to where I moved it from.

Never mind: I just realized that I didn't publish the course I was trying to move; that's why it's not sticking to the new location.

I am a teacher and I would like to organize my course list so that when I copy assignments to other sections I don't have to scroll down to find semester 2 courses etc.  My dashboard tiles are fine.  How do I move my course list around  (all starred courses on top)?
