Canvas repeats student's answer twice

With certain question types (multiple fill in the blank and multiple dropdowns, possibly others), Canvas, when showing students their quiz results, will show the student's answer twice, once inline and the other below (where the correct answers usually show up). This makes students believe they were graded incorrectly. This creates a lot of annoying "Canvas graded me wrong" email. Is there a way for me to shut off this repeating answer problem?

Or, Canvas, please fix this.

I tested this in my sandbox course and I was unable to replicate the behavior you are reporting. The feedback should display the student's incorrect answer and the correct answer if they answered it incorrectly as seen in this guide. Does this happen with other quizzes? You may want to reach out to Canvas support with a link to that quiz so we can take a closer look to see what is causing that.
