Are you a student or a teacher?
Have you looked to see if your school has it's own portal? Many district/institutions have a specific URL to log into their system. If you login using the generic Canvas login (searching for Canvas on Google usually directs there), then you will not see your content. This can happen both for teachers and students.
If a teacher, I would suggest reaching out to your tech department. They can get whomever is your Canvas admin to look into things for you.
