Collaboration keeps disappearing

I created a collaboration for a group of 5 people, but the collaboration keeps disappearing. I connected my google account several times. I was able to create a shared document and shared it with the others. It even showed that the collaboration was created when I first created it. I have tried refreshing my screen, but it still asks me to connect my Gmail account when it was already connected in order to create a collaboration. I have my document still open due to not being sure I will be able to reopen it later. How do I make it show that I have connected my Gmail account and created a collaboration?
