Color changing for courses

I have a habit of changing the colors of my courses to match them with my preferred color scheme. However, today when I tried to change the color of one of my courses, it didn't stay and kept reverting to its original color. On the other hand, sometimes the color changes on its own, and it doesn't allow me to change it to a different color. I am confused as to why this is happening.

Are you an instructor, or are you a student?  What colors are you trying to change within Canvas?  Can you please describe your process that you are using to try and change colors?  If you are a student, there aren't lots of options to change colors.  If you are an instructor, are you trying to change colors in content pages you are editing?  I think some additional details from you would be helpful...including a screenshot or two if you are able to share that as well.  Thanks, and looking forward to hearing back from you.

I am an instructor trying to change the colors of the course tiles on my Canvas dashboard on my computer using hex color codes I looked up using a website suggested in the Canvas Guides.  I can change them to what I prefer, but when I then go into one of the courses and come back to the dashboard all the tiles have changed to colors other than the ones I chose.  Is there a way to fix this?

I'm not sure if this will help or not, but have you tried clearing your browser history/cache, completely closing the browser, and then re-starting the browser?
