How do I combine canvas Courses?
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hey @DEBRAADAMS1 ,
Thank you for posting on the Instructure Community!
I thought I'd provide you a link that will direct you to a guide covering how to cross-list Canvas courses. Cross-list is the term we use in Canvas for combining.
I hope this helps, reach out with any additional questions or concerns! Thanks!

Hi @DEBRAADAMS1
just to supplement @NoahBoswell 's advice, note that when you create a crosslist the old courses are prefixed "ZZZ" and students and their activity will be removed.
For that reason we avoid crosslisting after students have started engaging with the module, and never do if submissions have been made.
The data remains available, but only by manually adding students into the ZZZ - it doesn't get transferred to the crosslist.
