Course Home Page Content Replaced with Announcements and Assignments!

Our course home page was chock full of information for students. Just recently, the content we had is gone. The home page now shows Recent Announcements and Assignments, which were never found there before. 

I'm hoping someone can help us either recover our home page content or share info on how to add that content back to the Course Home. I did find under course settings how to remove Recent Announcements.

Thank you! It was there under Pages. Then on the Home Page, I was able to use the Choose Home Page function on the upper right to select it again. Much appreciation!!

Did the default home page view get switched?

Click on Pages in the left-hand course navigation and see if you can find the original home page there. It may just be a matter of clicking into it, clicking the kebab menu on the upper left, and selecting "Use as Front Page."

If the page itself is missing, you may need to see if it was recently deleted. Go to the course home page and add /undelete at the end of the url. This should take you to a page with a list of recently deleted items that you can choose to restore.
