When I do a Course Search, the past term dates are all jumbled in the search function. The term dates should be putting them in year order but they are not and I see it there a couple of times. What can be done so there is a year order to the Past Enrollment Terms?

Without more information about your Canvas environment or the abiltiy to see it, I do not have any other suggestions but maybe someone else will.
You might want to consider reaching out to Canvas Support directly.

Hi @AVPOO,
I believe the order in that dropdown menu is determined based on the "Term Runs from" date when looking at the list of terms in a (sub) account.
Check out that area and make sure that the dates are in the correct/desired order.

They are - that's the mystery. I can't figure out how to fix this...
That is a mystery then, @AVPOO.
In beta (I like testing things like this on a Friday because everything is reset), I changed the start date for our upcoming Fall 2025 semester (originally set for Monday, August 25th and changed to Monday, May 5th) and two things happened in the course search area and the terms dropdown list:
I would recommend playing around with dates for your terms in beta (since it is Friday, everything will be reset) and see what you can figure out for the display order.
If you cannot figure it out, I would recommend reporting the problem directly to Canvas Support.

It didn't fix it. I don't know if it is our J1 system bringing the term content in or if it is a Canvas issue. I change and it reverts right back to where it was.
