Creating Canvas Groups for several courses at the same time

Hello Everyone, 

I would like to ask if there is a way to create the same group sets for different course, is there a way to do this with a csv import?

Thanks for posting this in the Canvas Community! 

There is a way to import a CSV to create groups in Canvas courses. Assuming you are an admin and can do sis imports, you can format a group_categories.csv to create the group sets. You would then use a groups.csv to create the course level groups. You can also setup the memberships, if needed with a CSV. You would use the groups_membership.csv for that 

• HERE is the csv formatting for the group_categories.csv. 
• HERE is the csv formatting for the groups.csv
• HERE is the csv formatting for the groups_membership.csv
