Cross Listing Multiple classes (4-5)

I am trying to figure out if we can create a course for each grade and then cross

 

list 4-5 sections for each classroom in the grade.  If not, if you know of another way we can design Canvas so each grade level has one course with 4-5 teachers and sections please let me know.  This would also be helpful for our Specials teachers who have 4-5 sections of each grade, but each grade's sections use the same content.

Yes, cross-listing would work for what you are trying to accomplish. This guide will help, but pay very close attention to the initial discussion/disclaimers about cross-list, especially the one pertaining to only cross-listing unpublished courses. How do I cross-list a section in a course as an instructor?

Excerpt from guide:

"Cross-listing should be done while courses are unpublished. Coursework is retained with the course, not with the section enrollments, so if a published course is cross-listed, all cross-listed enrollments will lose any associated assignment submissions and grades."
