Delete Columns in gradebook

How do I delete columns in my grade book.  

I published lessons, then did not use, so I have empty columns that I would like to remove.@tracybirkett

To remove columns in the gradebook you will need to delete the graded item (assignment, quiz, discussion) that the column is attached to.
