Discussion Board grading after certain date

On my Dashboard, it shows up things to grade that aren't ready yet. I have a three-part DB assignment: one primary posts and two secondaries. All of this should close out on Sunday so that on Monday I get a notification that I have sixteen things to grade. Instead, I am getting notifications that I have all of these half-finished things to grade. It's driving me bonkers, because I can do this in Blackboard so easily. Google searches just cover the basics of "Here's how to do a graded discussion board!"--which is not not at all what I need.
So to summarize, it would be nice to get only a notification A) if the assignment has been completed (meaning, all prongs) or B) after the final due date, whichever comes first. False alarms don't help me much
